New Superhero: Captain Brooklyn


A new superhero, called Captain Brooklyn, will appear in Image Comics this upcoming spring. Captain Brooklyn is the story of a garbage man who gains superpowers after falling in the Gowanus Canal. It seems like this comic will fulfill readers' fantasies of normal people being able to mutate and receive superpowers. I like that it has a comedic twist, as a superhero garbage man sounds pretty funny and entertaining overall. The illustrations look fun and playful. The writers have only divulged one of this schlub's superpowers, super strength, so you'll have to wait until the comic comes out to find out his other powers.
